Dreadzone return to the fray after the tragic events of last year. This year saw them rebuilding shattered lives following the death of Steve Roberts, guitarist and brother of founder member Greg. Dreadzone set out to pick themselves up and do what they do best, taking to the road for the summer festivals this year, headlining Festivals across the UK and playing from Cornwall to Ullapool in Northern Scotland. With two new members, fresh energy and brand new material the band have found their feet in the studio as well as on stage. This is the first release of new Dreadzone material in over a year and is a single called ’Love the life’. This return to form is classic Dreadzone updated for 2007 with a heavy heavy sub bass, old skool beats, bubbling electronics and super dark rave skanks all topped with poignant vocals from singer MC Spee which is both simple and profound at the same time - ’Tomorrow never comes, when it does, its today..’ Featuring new member Chris Oldfield on engineering duties and even some keyboards from Marlon Roberts , son of Greg, this is a taster of new material that is taking shape in the new ’Dreadzhome studio’ in west London.
