California based singer songwriter and Ryan Adams & The Cardinals guitarist. Neal Casal returns to the folk rock mould that is his trademark, particularly on such albums as ‘Basement Dreams’ or ‘The Sun Rises Here’, being heavily influenced by the works of Neil Young and Gram Parsons. ‘Roots & Wings’ was recorded between December 2007 and June 2008 in Lafayette, Los Angeles and Brooklyn and features the following musicians; Dan Fadel, Andy Goessling, Jeff Hill, John Ginty, Greg Leisz, Farmer Dave Sher and Jonathan Rice.
