    label: attack

Justin Hinds, born in 1942, started his career singing in bars and on the beach in Ochos Rios. He later moved to Kingston where he became influenced by the rastafari movement. After being turned down by Sir Coxsone’s Studio One label, he went on to sign for Treasure Isle, along with Dennis Sinclair & Junior Dixon AKA “The Dominoes”. The first major recording for Treasure Isle was the single “Carry Go Bring” which went on to be a chart hit. The track has since been covered by a number of other ska bands. This album contains 19 of the very best hits from the vaults of Treasure Isle.
