    label: Bad Dog

Folk-punk from Australia. Formed in 2003, the sound of The Go Set is hard to categorize as it encompasses a variety of musical styles. From the traditional Celtic sounds, to folk, to seventies punk, lyrically backed with political and socially conscious lyrics, avoiding clichés and including their own sense of humour. An explosive cocktail of Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, mixed with the songwriting style of Billy Bragg. Their new album goes back to their roots: less ballads and more punk, compared to their previous album. In early 2008 the band hit the European stages for the first time and left a firm and lasting impression with fans across the continent.
