Glenroy Washington, singer, songwriter and drummer, made his first hit record “Rockers Nu Crackers” in 1978 for producer Joe Gibbs, but did not grace the charts again until the release of “Kindness for Weakness” in 1998. Over the years Glen has recorded sporadically as a solo singer and extensively as a studio drummer, later moving to the USA to work with Stevie Wonder. In 1997 he pursued his solo career by doing some recordings for Studio One legend Coxsone Dodd. Glen’s voice has been compared to Beres Hammond. This album shows his versatility as one of reggae’s greats, produced by one of reggae’s top producers DJ Flava.
