With lyrics cut from dated astronomy texts and ping-pong vocal rounds soaked in reverb, Primitive Motion create their own brand of spontaneous, steam-driven electronic pop. Their moves recall Joe Jones' repetitive readymades and Joe Meek's "I Hear a New World". Following their work on a sound piece for a gallery opening in Sydney, Leighton Craig and visual artist and musician Sandra Selig started recording as Primitive Motion. The duo are also part of The Deadnotes, a shambling art-punk group that often collaborates with The Legend!
