Their debut album delivered a white knuckle feedback drenched ride that saw the likes of Clash wax lyrical over its 'hypnotic textures, sprawling noise and violent haze with blistering riffs'. Now The Megaphonic Thrift return with their second, eponymous album. Looking to move on from the marker set down by 'Decay Decoy' the result is an album that pushes at the edges of their previous noise assault at times but also reveals a softer and more delicate side.
