• ilmo smokehouse Ilmo Smokehouse (double LP, £27.50)

    label: akarma

Responsible for one lone album, produced in 1971, Ilmo Smokehouse made a name for itself during the early '70s thanks to constant gigging, often sharing the stage with names like The MC5, Big Brother & The Holding Company, The Amboy Dukes, Brownsville Station, James Gang, Sugarloaf, Crow, The Flock and BB King! Thanks to the aggressive and captivating sound, a mix of heavy rock with blues/psych/jazz influences, the band was highly regarded. This reissue of the LP includes seven bonus tracks.
