• patrick porter Lisha Kill (CD, £4.25)

    label: camera obscura

Second album, recorded on rudimentary equipment with a lot of found instruments like casios, toy pianos, mandolines, acoordion etc. He started getting interested in the idea to create something beautiful out of the garbage of other people. Real world sounds of cars, sirens and grocery checkout squaws occasionally intrude. The album has become a ghetto of ghost whispers of AM, broken stuff and hidden junk drawers, its a loner loose-woven fabric of deconstructed space folk, taking the footwear introspection of earlier work into more experimental territory.
