STILL GOING IS THE COMBINATION OF TWO NYC DANCE MUSIC LEADERS ERIC DUNKS DUNCAN AND OLIVIER SPENCER OF MANTHRAXX AND MR. NEGATIVE MET MANY YEARS AGO AT THE NOW INFAMOUS RUI'S LOFT, WHERE DUNCAN SPUN LEGENDARY SWEATY LATE NIGHT PARTIES AS ONE HALF OF THE NEW YORK DJ DUO RUB N TUG. RUB N TUG BEGAN TO TAKE OFF AND DUNCAN WAS SOON DJING AROUND THE WORLD, RELEASING MIX CDS ON ESKIMO, FABRIC, AND ANYTHING RECORDS, AND REMIXES FOR LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, COLDPLAY, ROXY MUSIC AND THE BEASTIE BOYS. THE DUO PRODUCED THE BLISSFUL 'STILL GOING THEME' ON THE NIGHT IT WAS MIXED DOWN, WHILE JAMES MURPHY WAS SPINNING AT THE NEARBY DFA RECORDS HOLIDAY PARTY OF 2006. JAMES LIKED THE MIX SO MUCH, HE PLAYED IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE TO A ROOMFUL OF RABID DISCO FANS WHO CHEERED FOR IT ON THE SPOT. DUNCAN AND SPENCER HEADED BACK TO THE STUDIO SOON AFTER TO RECORD THE FLIPSIDE FOR THE FUTURE DFA RELEASE THE EQUALLY ANTHEMIC 'ON AND ON.'
